I need some prayers. I go to the doctor on Thursday to have a lump looked at. It is near my "nether region" on the inside of my thigh. I have had a lump removed before, but that was in my left breast. It was a fibroadenoma (noncancerous tumor). It also appeared shortly after Tanner was born. This happens to be shortly after Aiden's birth so I don't know what gives. The nurse said it could just be a swollen gland. I hope she's right. It just scares me because all sorts of cancers run high in my family. Please pray that it is nothing to be concerned about.
I will be praying for you! That can be so scary. There are so many benign things it could be, and I hope that is what it is for you!!
Praying for you Jen! I have a tendency to be "lumpy" in different areas and I had a dr in the military tell me to cut out things like chocolate, cheese, and dark sodas.
Jen I hope its just a swollen gland or a small something or other to remove. Please up date us after thursday.
I know this isn't a joking matter but couldn't help it......... they always say chocolate goes right to your thighs.
Jen, when he told me that all I could think of is what's left!! I never got around to posting this, but one evening when I was on here, I hear Joyce behind me saying in a creepy voice "could this be a sign that I'm a chocoholic?" and when I turn around she is licking a tootsie roll. I always laugh when she stars begging me to bake a chocolate cake and she hasn't even started her periods yet. Isn't it nice when we can get on here and no matter how bad things are someone can make us laugh! As far as the glands go, I was so bad when I was small that my mom couldn't use that as an indicator I was sick because mine stayed swollen. Every so often I get a cluster of pea size ones in my groin that are painful but don't seem to be a problem. That is what took me to the dr when I got the no chocolate prescription. Sorry, but that is one thing I can't cut out of my diet!

I also had one on my inner thigh, it went away on its own, within days, praying yours will go away too.
Don't think anything! Worry won't help. Wait until the DR checks it. I know easy to say huh? We love ya here and are praying for you!
Jen, I'm thanking the Lord for your faith and for your desire to leave everything in His care. I, too, pray that it will be nothing to worry about. My sil had lumps until, following Dr's orders, she quit drinking tea! Isn't that strange?
Jen, keep that head high, those smiles coming and keep thinking postive.. we will pray the lump is nothing and it will be gone by the time you get to the doctor.. and the doctor looks up and you and says you been on homeschoolspot haven't you .. you been talking to much... slow down and things will get better.. LOL anyway we love you girl keep us update and remember we are hear to listen Thursday is a ways off...
