    It's a...........................a.......................a..............

    a...............................................

    GIRL!!!!!

I am in shock. I was so sure I was having a boy. However, the ultrasound was very clear. LOL. Everything appears to be normal also. I am thrilled! I did want a boy, but after seeing that little baby in 3D and knowing it is my daughter, how can I be disappointed. My son and dh are feeling a bit dismayed and outnumbered. LOL. Olivia is thrilled! Alyssa is clueless. LOL.

Now, I am glad I told my dh that if he wanted a son named Alexander that bad I would be ok with it. LOL. Ha! Nothing like being a good wife and not having to follow through! LOL.

Well, back to the name drawing board. We were set on Natalie but that was before I knew for sure. It will still be very high in the running, if not the name but now I am excited to look in my baby book again.

Thanks all those who prayed for me!

YAY!! I have 3 girls and a boy, too. Get ready to hear lots of comments on how you need to make sure your son socializes with boys since he's home around girls all day.

I have 3 girls and a boy also. We won't talk about the pix I have of my son that I told him I'm saving to show his wife someday! Hmm, another head of hair to do!

    Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How exciting! Maybe we all need to put lists of names on here for you to pick from. That could be a long list. I'm glad to hear your baby is healthy.

    Oh YAY! We're having a girl!!! :D

Well, Kris already put a LOVELY name for a girl in the other post! I vote for that one! ;)

If you for some strange reason decide not to use Kris's suggestion, then I vote for Joy for the middle name. That's my dd's middle name and she has been such a joyful little angel her whole life! HONEST! So I recommend it highly! :D

*I* think you should name the baby Ava Rose!!! It's a GREAT name, and since it's not "really" yours, you should go with it!!!

So when will you all be coming down this way to visit us? You need to take the kids on a field trip to their State Capital!!!

CONGRATS!!! I have 2 of each. Girls are so fun and sassy. And boys are SO silly! At least mine are. We have a blast with them. Life wouldn't be the same without them.

  Ava Rose, how can you pass up a cool name like that?!!! :D

I think Jackie's right. Since you've wanted that name for so long, and YOU'RE the one carrying and having this baby, you should choose her name! Ava Rose really IS a beautiful name! (almost as beautiful as Jennifer Ohiograndma!)

HEY!!! That's JACQUELINE Jennifer Ohiograndma!!! GET IT STRAIGHT!!!

(I don't believe it!!! I tried to add two smileys after my message, and received the following:

Quote: You have included 6 images in your message. You are limited to using 4 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

Images include use of smilies, the vB code tag and HTML <img> tags. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator.

(Unquote) So, since there were four smileys in Deena's message which I quoted, I can't use any more!!! AMY!!! Is this something new?

We have three boys and four girls. I love babies so much! I am so happy for you and your family. Wow! A brand new baby girl for us to get excited about. Can't wait for her to get here. I love all the names being suggested. How about Emily Grace. That is my youngest daughter's birth name and we didn't change it when we adopted her. We thought it was perfect for her. Beth

Thanks ladies. All of you are internet Aunts. So, I expect you all to do your part and babysit. LOL.

Now, you will all think I am crazy but I don't care for Ava Rose that much anymore. LOL. I get like that. I like a name for a very long time and then I get sick of it.

Jackie is a good name. LOL. When I was in school I always wished that was my name. Of course Deena, Kris, Jennifer....UGH....too many. Maybe something that fits my life and this situation....hmmm...what about:

    Bankrupt HomeschoolSpot

    No? Ok...ok....lol.

Olivia is pushing hard for Natalie. When I was convinced I was having a boy I said that if somehow it was a girl Natalie would be the name. I still like it but now that I know it is a girl I want to explore other options.

Joy is a great middle name! Natalie Joy! My dd wants it to be Natalie Rose or Natalie Belle.

Well, the redheaded trio votes for Bella or Belle as a middle name. Hey, what about Bella Joy! Joy was another name I had liked when I was in high school.

Belle??? Too common??? Too Disney? LOL. I remember loving the name Isabella. Mostly because I thougth the nickname Bella was so cute. I guess I could do Isabella Joy. But, I am not so sure about the Isabella part anymore. Again, I get sick of names I think about too much. LOL.

I do have to be careful what I name her though. I will admit I had always pictured kind of a bratty girl when I thought of the name Alyssa. I pictured the girl in school that thought she was all that. Well...I decided my thoughts on the name were silly and allowed my dh and ds to have their way. lol. Well, my Alyssa is kind of a princess....yikes! LOL.

I like the Joy part. Partly because it is part of Joyce's name! I would have loved something like Joycelyn but my dh decided it sound too "country" so we compromised wit Joyce Lynn. My mil and my mom are Joyce and we used my middle name. This was neat because my dd took her middle name for the older dgd Toni Marie and Saundra's is Lynn after mine! Btw, I love Isabella too!

CONGRATS! I love baby girls! I really wanted by ds to be a girl so it took me awhile to get over the disappointment after my ultrasound but now I am so thankful I have one of each! I like the idea of using Ava Rose too!

I'm curious to see if you have another redhead!! My sis sent me pix of her 4 last night (3 boys and a girl) and I had to laugh. Her older three have dark hair that is rather large (hers are mixed also) but the youngest has almost blonde hair that is similar in texture to your Roo's. We thought my younger dgd was going to be a redhead but it is mellowing out to brown now.
