Yes, I have seen this. She has ALOT of power, money, and influence. Her "feelings" ,as she calls them, are far from Christianity. -Cheryl dd-14(OCHSA) homeschooling ds-12 and ds-11
I hear ya, I've been feeling the same way about her lately. That guy doing the "class" is so weird...it's like he's brainwashed her! It is sad too because so many people will follow him because of her.
I can't stand Oprah. I never thought she sounded like a Christian to begin with. Doesn't surprise me. Sad though...very sad. Way too many people are influenced by her...can't understand why.
Anyone who would follow her pathetic way of falsifying God is a moron. I'll leave it at that. This whole situation just makes me so angry when I think of it. I'd rather not get into it.
My statement was nearly pointing out the obvious, we all have a right to believe the way we want to believe. I certainly don't agree with her beliefs but they are simply that, her beliefs. She is definitely in a position of power to sway others into believing in the way she believes.
What I know is that when I watch her talking about this new way, that it makes me feel uneasy and sick inside. Which is God's way of telling me not to listen. But what I think is the most sad of all is that hundreds of thousands of people are searching for truth and light and trying to do it without Christ. That makes me sad because it's a futile search. I think that a lot of the things that Oprah says are so close to the truth but she misses it by an inch and the train ends up in LA instead of New York. Amy
I believe Oprah can be classified as a false teacher. It is so much more than just a belief. It is deception, even if she believes it, from the enemy. The Bible calls us to be so rooted in the word that we will be able to recognize a lie when we see and hear it. Sadly most people are so lost and seeking truth, like Amy said, that they will believe almost anything.
I believe that she trusts in her riches. We know what the Bible says about the 'rich' man. I stopped watching her a long time ago. It's a shame that she is influencing so many people to believe falsely.
I agree. I stopped watching Oprah a long time ago. Even years ago you could see she would eventually denounce Christ. Very sad. What is even weirder is that some chick with her own talk show can have so much influene. lol.
How abolutely true! I believe one reason people are so influenced by people of affluence is because we love to know how they got to be wealthy and powerful. We then think if we follow their dogma, we too can be like them. We don't see their lives behind the scenes or how messed up, deceitful, and insecure they really are, or then they would be exposed and lose their following. Blessings, Trishy kriagirl.blogspot.com
Oprah could not appeal to the masses and continue to build her fortune if she only believed in one way ... Her following is huge and it is just scarey how many people, even chirstians are buying into this teaching.
