Hello friends on this Memorial Day. I've been down memory lane alot today- it would have been my dad's birthday. I sure do miss him and wish he could see my boys now. We had a quiet day though- MIL was not feeling well and DH was at work- so just me and the boys.

What did you all do this weekend? Did you have a great time? I got a lot done around my house- a good start anyway on more control of my "pack-rat-ed-ness"!!

I'm sorry I was not on earlier- I hope you all have a great week and check in soon!

Drink your water and kiss your kids!

I drank my water and kissed my kids and dh! :D

We worked outside a LOT yesterday; it was beautiful weather! Today was raining, so didn't get the pleasure of being outside.

But overall we had a good weekend!

How old would your father have been, MT3? This year my dad would have been 100. We kids wrote tributes to both Dad and Mom and gave them to my mother.

Thank you for asking about the reunion on last week's check-in. Even though I didn't quite get down to my desired weight-loss goal, I was close enough. I'm setting new goals now.

And even though I don't feel like I did a great job at everything (see restricted Christian issues "What is better than going to heaven?"), things worked out, and we had a very, very, very blessed day. The skit was unexpectedly enriched when a former teacher/coach showed up and joined the talk-show format as a guest. The humorous segment that I was a part of was over, and four other interviews had been completed when "Coach" showed up. Almost like it had been planned...

Thanks, fellow-participants of this healthy-living support group, for helping me get somewhat "shaped up" and prayed up for this event. Now, onward toward the next 20 pounds!!!

We had a good weekend. This friday we go back to the doctor and my son will have to weigh. I am praying he has lost something. We have been walking and using the ab lounge. I hope he see some results. Its so hard to be a child and have to worry about your weight. I wish he didn't have to but he is unconfortable with all the weight he has gained in the last year 67 lbs. He is over 200 now. We think meds have something to do with it. He is now taking the one that was increasing his craving for food at bed time and now he doesn't seem to be eating so much. I wish he could just be a kid and not have worry about it.
Glad everyone had a good weekend. I did do some gardening yesterday it was so nice. Today it is cold and cloudy.

Hello from a cloudy, gray Idaho. It sounds like everyone enjoyed their weekend- good to hear it was sunny!

Deena, how's the foot this week?

Prairie Home- Dad would have been 64- we lost him when he got a sudden illness at the age of 53. I'm so glad the reunion was fun, and how neat that "Coach" showed up.

Amy- I'll be praying for your son's appointment. My oldest son needs to watch his weight as well, and it is difficult.

We had another weekend of hit-and-miss meals. We made brunch on Sunday and Monday, so then we kind of had a meal later in the day and called it good. We only have two baseball games this week, so maybe we can get back on track again. It's difficult when we have to be at the field by 5:30 and the games are over around 7:45- dinner hour is late!

Talk to you all later- have a great day!

Drink your water and kiss your kids.... MT3
