Now that Terry has his iPad, we're trying to figure out what apps are worth having. Of course we prefer free apps, but don't mind spending a couple of bucks on anything that's REALLY worth it. He's not a reader at all, so don't bother mentioning the Kindle or Nook apps. lol. Other than that, what are your faves? (feel free to mention ones you have on a Blackberry or Android device, since most are available from the Apple Store, too)
I love Our Groceries. I have it on my phone - I can update my grocery list (or costco list, or home depot list) from my computer OR my phone and it will show up both places. Even better...once I get DH to download the app for his phone, it will show up there, too. It may sound silly, but we've had some comical miscommunications about what I actually needed from the grocery store....
Yep, it came today! It made it from Hong Kong to Missouri in 24 hours!!!! (By way of Alaska then Kentucky)Totally God, I'm sure. He didn't really understand what it was. Like he didn't connect it to the commercial he saw. He spend an hour or so trying to convince me to take it; he said he didn't know why I spent so much on him (he looked up the price :roll. When that didn't work he started with, "Well, it's ours, not mine." That didn't work either. lol. He thinks it's neat, but I can tell he doesn't think he deserves it/is worth it/whatever. I think if I can find him some really cool apps that HE would like, it will be better. I mean, he likes it, he just don't have a clue what to do with it. He doesn't work the sort of job where he needs it from a business perspective. But I suspect that after his manager meeting (with all the managers in his district) on Wednesday that he'll be floating over it.
Ok, I'm cornfuzzled. I downloaded it to his iPad and I downloaded it in my PC, but it won't open on the PC (not even in iTunes, which is where it downloaded to). I've never tried to use an app on my PC, so I don't know how to do it. Suggestions?
From my PC, I access it via the website. What you have to do is sign in with the email address you associate with it. Let's see if I can explain it better: Go to the website and register. Whatever email address you use, when your DH opens the app in his iPad, he needs to tell the Our Groceries app that he wants lists that go with the same email address you used. Does that make sense?
There's little more satisfying than annihilating snarky green pigs with birds shot off from a slingshot. I personally love using the Eagle when I've gotten really frustrated and just want to wipe them all out in one blow.
Yes. I just can't find where the website is. When I search for "ourgroceries" online, I get a homepage that only offers download. I'll just keep digging. Thanks!
Okay, go to THIS page. First, type in the email address you want to use. THEN: Look where it says: Do you have an OurGroceries account? Below that, there are three lines - click on the link at the end of the first option, which says: "No, I’ve never signed in on this web site, please create an account."
