Just popping in to say hello.
I homeschool my 3 children and am entering my 7th year of homeschooling. Last year was my first year in a support/co-op group. I hope to glean ideas from others here.

Hi! I'm Prairie Home, and we've "changed our methods" of homeschooling with every child. One was active and learned spelling while jumping on a mini trampoline. One loved books and could sit for hours doing the repitition in ACE paces. One had challenges with reading and listened to tapes and followed a vocational track which led into an antique car business by age 15. One always needed an challenge and therefore enjoyed working a session for a state senator when she was Sophomore in highschool.

Don't be afraid of the highschool years, if you have cooperative children. They CAN be the best! (They'll be the worst, if the kids don't want to be there, though.) Attitude will make the difference. The materials and resources are there in abuandance for you to be successful, so don't let academics intimidate you.

Hi and welcome. My name is Leah and we are south of Atl GA. We are going to be starting our second year of homeschool with a 2nd and 3rd grader. I have enjoyed this site and it has been a big help with finding extra resources.
