Welcome! I just can't get over all the new people here! I'm from IL, but live in IA now. This will be our second full year of homeschooling. My oldest did time in public school the first year and half....then we pulled him out....then we put him back for 2nd grade :roll: ....then I got with the program . I have a 9yo ds (son) and a 6yo dd (daughter). We are very relaxed with our school work and are currently only using a formal math and phonics/language curriculum. We'll add more formality as needed....I have Mystery of History and Considering God's Creation waiting in the wings. Welcome again! Hope you enjoy it here.
In time you'll see that we're crazier than the birds in the sky :wink: I'm Brenda by the way and I will admit that I am crazy at the best of times (Glenda don't you say another word). I have three boys 13, 10, and almost 7. We have home schooled our middle son (we did the Brooke program :wink: ) a couple times now and this fall will be our first full year at it with the youngest two for sure - not sure about the oldest one yet - that will take a lot of prayer for that decision. I needed the prverbial 2x4 in the head to finally clue in and yank the boys while the getting was good. We live In New Brunswick (not far from the Houlton, Maine border). Staci, Ihope you have fun here, you'll find lots of fun things to talk about here (and maybe a gross conversation or two as well).
