Is anyone out there an e-bay wiz???? We signed up to bid on a book. Now when I put my password in they say it is invalid. And in order to get my password they ask me questions to answer {mothers maiden name etc.}And the question they are asking is not the question I picked either. Anyone know what we should do??????Lynne
Make sure that you are useing caps or small letters which ever applies to you (my DH is bad for leaving the caps lock on) did you add numbers in your pass word that you may be forgetting?? you can also change your password i believe.
You could have typed in your password wrong. Ask them to send it to you. If you can get into your options then you can change it there also. Caps might be on as earlier stated. Maybe you used a different email address too. Check out the settings, email and typo's and then ask for it to be sent to you. You MAY have to sign up all over again if you can't figure it out and they can't contact you.
It could be that someone hacked your account and changed your info. This is less likely than typing your password wrong, but it has happened to my husband and I on ebay. If it isn't as simple as typing your password wrong, I would try to contact the tech support on ebay and tell them what's going on. Hopefully they will allow you to cancel that account and set up a new one.
I talked to Lynne this afternoon and we tried to figure it out. She went to ebay and "talked" with a tech. They figured out that she forgot a hyphen. Thanks for all the help you gave her. She is not at home, so I thought I would reply for her.

Your dh needs to get a job like timkelsmom, so you can still travel from place to place because he has jobs waiting in those places! That way you have the income coming in!
