Yes, Brenda, those are words of Life. Sometimes the Lord "walks and talks" with us in the beautiful garden places of our journey, and at other times, the walk of faith seems to lead through parched deserts where the awareness of His presence in our lives dims.

It's then that the enemy of our souls whispers that there is no loving God Who cares. Our enemy tries to hide the power of the Blood. He points to the brokenness and wrong things of this world and flexes his own puny muscles, which look dazzling to us, and wraps us in a shroud of unbelief toward things that are true. In that state, we grope for other belief systems, including the wish for no belief system at all.

You are not wrong to question the walk of faith. But God heard your earlier promises, Euph, and He will keep His end of the deal. I don't know why He's letting you walk through such a dry, barren place right now, but watch for His hand in your life.

If that's so I guess I have nothing to worry about regardless of what I do.

BUT denying the very existence of God (which you have questionned in a previous post) is blasphemy and is the one unforgivable sin... I urge you to right that wrong. Here read this...

Matthew 12:30-32 "He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

God must be pretty insecure since he's unable to forgive such a petty thing.

It seams to me this thread is getting where people's words are getting twisted and therefore I am going to close the thread.
