Wow, what a blessing! I doubt I'd ever get that, everyone in my church thinks I'm crazy for homeschooling!!
Mine all wish they could be me! At my church, the only oposition I have had is that they have a school there, but the Highschool/jr highschool teacher homeschooled his kids all the way through to sr high seniors! BY thier choice two of his kids went out for that! I get left overs and I get to make as many copies as I want, if its over a hundred I need to pay whatever I deem appropriate heheh! IT is awesome! PLUS I can join them on feild trips anytime! I Just have to remember to do that this year!
Our "overall (worldwide)" church has schools also. The one near here is K-9, and they are NOT thrilled with homeschoolers---they feel they'd be in better financial shape if we homeschoolers would just "do the right thing" and join the school! Aint hap'nin' though! I've subbed there, helped with hot lunches, we buy stuff from the kids when they have fundraisers, go to their Christmas and end of year programs, and we help with most of the work bees. But, they're still not thrilled with us. Oh well.....
