I see Jennibear is off this weekend with her hubby so I thought I'd let you know dh and I are off on a weekend trip too. We were supposed to be going to float the river but the river is closed. So dh and I plus 4 other couples are headed to our friend's lake house on Lake Livingston for the weekend. Yesterday we were all trying to figure out what to do because of the whether. We all had sitters for the kids and kennels for the dogs plus we already had $150 worth of food bought. So our choices were drive over 3 hours to sit in possibly wet tents and try to go out on Canyon Lake since the river is closed or cut the drive time in half by taking the food we already bought and the boat and going to the lake house. Dh is still working but when he gets home we are off! I've got everything all packed up and ready to go. Everyone else left at 7am but dh had to work. So we have a lovely weekend of hopefully some fun in the sun! I'll be back Sunday!
That's great Tiffany! It's nice to get away now and then! I hope you have a great time! Sorry the weather ruined your first plans, but I bet it'll be good, whatever you end up doing!
Sounds wonderful!!! I guess I've no room to be jealous, because we actually had all three kids at camp at the same time back in June! I don't think that will happen again in our lifetime!
Have a wonderful time! Don't know what it's like to be off with the hubby alone lol. We've never even had a babysitter and dd is 6 1/2.
