If our babe is a boy we're going to name him Jonah. No ideas on a middle name though. I'd kind of like it to start with a vowel, but I would go with something else if it was perfect. But not an A. That's the problem, all the ones I've come up with start with a. Any suggestions?

Well, our baby was gonna be Jonah if it was a boy, but we got a little girl!!

With meanings in parenthesis- We had Jonah (Dove) Luke (Bringer of Light) Ronan (Mighty) picked out. We also had a close second with Jonah Kai (Kai means ocean in Hawaiian).

    Good luck!!

    Tara :)

Hey don't feel bad, Jackie, Email would be a very now name anyway. Haven't you heard about the Asian couple that wanted to name there son @. I guess in Chinese the symbol means loved one or loved boy...
So Email to me sounds much better.

Hey, I don't know what your last name is but make sure you write out the initials to see if you spelled a word. My son's initials are ATM..lol. My friend's mom's are PMS. It was a tip from a baby book...you can tell I didn't pay much attention since I have a little ATM machine at home. Don't really think it matters...just a thought...had to add something since thinking of names is a near impossible task for me. However I do think Jonah Isaac sounds good.

How about just the letter E
    Jonah E ....

Just a thought...My ds just has the letter B. Not an initial, just the letter. It fits very well...and another thought I am having is my fil doesn't have a middle name.

Isaac was the first one that popped in my head and I had to laugh when I saw it at the top of Amie's list!

 Well, maybe she could start a new trend for computer related names here in the US!

I liked Isaac too, but some of the others would sound kind of cool too. Whatever name he ends up with will be the right one!!! :D

It will depend on what your last name is. There were some names we had to scrap because they sounded really goofy with our last name.

Definitely watch the initials. Dh's best friend's initials are the same as male private parts minus the vowels (does that make sense??) and his brother's first two initials are AS and then the same final one. I don't know what his parents were thinking.

And if that makes no sense, I apologize! I am just trying to not write it out where your kid will walk by the computer and go  !

And my favorite middle name that I will probably never get to use is Constant. But C is not a vowel. Sorry.

Funny, I was thinking of using the name Isaac for a boy, but Daniel came up with Jonah and I liked it too so decided we'd go with that. I do like it for a middle name, his initials would be JIP. Lol, whatcha think?

My grandson is named Jonah Matthew, but that isn't a vowel either. I like Jonah Isaac. Besides, how often do you use a middle name? Not much, except when you want to get their attention:) My daughter doesn't have a middle name. Her name is Lalena and we could not find anything to go with it, so we didn't give her one.
