What else can go wrong in my kitchen??:| 1) dish washer not working about 2 weeks ago. 2) microwave went kaput last saturday 3) water line for the ice maker got burned and started leaking (I put the hot rack from the oven beside the oven and heard a sssssssisiiisss sound). Ok we are just like most of you... no extra $$ for these repairs and replacements at this time. :roll: when it rains it pours! Sorry about the rant. DH just called to make sure that I found the water turn off valve....... and to lecture me about putting the hot oven rack between the WOOD cabinet and stove (you know that little space) --- not to mention that the line got burned too.
Yikes...it is sure crazy in your kitchen. I know the feeling....when one thing goes wrong a million others decide to go wrong at the same time. I hope you find an inexpensive way to work it all out!
Oh, no! When I saw the title, I thought it was going to be about putting the milk away in the pantry or something like that. That stinks that you are having it all at once. That seems like the way it always is!
thanks gals, I know everyone can relate. ----- I know we all had our share to say when the descussion about the fridge going out for some one. ( we are just now recovering from the freezer being left open over night!)
Oh wow! I know how it is to have a bunch go out at once! I hope you get it fixed or replaced quickly and cheaply!
What are the symptoms of the dish washer? Go on craigslist for the microwave. There's probably someone in your area willing to give one away if you'll pick it up. The line on the fridge is an easy fix. Probably a 1/4 inch to 1/4 inch hose. I've had to learn the hard way how to fix stuff
Dish washer was making a "odd" noise, then after that load finished it stopped working, DH looked at the front panel with the electronics. The ice maker line is easy we fixed it once, just have to pull the stove out and make time to do it. DH is very against using a mircrowave a stranger used. (I am too).
Amy, sounds like something I would do, so don't feel bad, I think we have so many things on our mine we don't think what we are doing. About the microwave I don't blame you, but Walmart has some good deals right now. If you can't afford one, go back to old stove again. I know you will miss it we get use to it and it's hard not to have it.. oh and washing dishes my dd's always say daddy why can't we get a dishwasher in the rv and he says because I got two very pretty working one now.. LOL
