I would like my son to have a penpal. Regular writing - not by email.

Anyone know of a safe place to find one now and days?

We wrote to lovetocrochet5's kids for a little while, but since they have gone back to school they don't write anymore. We would love to be pen pals with similar aged/gendered kids. pm me!

My son wrote to a member on heres daughter and it has been months and we haven't heard anything. He would really enjoy being a pen pal with someone if anyone is interested. He is 11, but would not mind the age nor if it was a boy or girl.

it sounds like lots of us would love to have penpals.. maybe someone should organize it? We could take on more than one, but no more than 2 or 3. When I was in 5th grade I got a pen pal in the Virgin Islands, we wrote for a long time, and then they got a severe storm and I never heard from her again, I still to this day hope that she and her family turned out ok. I wish I still remembered her name, I would look her up.

AussieMum my Samantha is 11 and would love to have another pen pal. Like I said she already has Ems in California and during our school year she is really good about writing. She just finished writing to Ems and it should go in the mail tomorrow. She'd love to have another and our girls are teh same age - if you are interested just pm me.

I have two daughters, ages 8 and 11. I would love from them to have pen pals, too. I know the 11 year old would be tickled pink.

The 8, not a big fan of writing but with a pen pal, it would open a whole new world to her and encourage her.

If anyone is interested I have two girls.

I found my daughter one as she really didn't know any other homeschoolers at the time. The letters kept asking what are you studying now which was fine but I think they didn't like the answers? We haven't heard from the pen pal in 4 months!

My kids have both asked for 2 penpals (I guess in case 1 fails to write back - they had email penpals and the kids would never write)

    SO.... Looking for:

1 Boy age 10-11 like computers, radio controlled cars, pokemon, magic stuff, chess, lives on a farm, riding his bike.

1 Girl age 7-8 a "pink" tomboy! Loves climbing trees - but does it in a dress and make up (yeah she plays in makeup) Bratz movies, spongebob, riding her bike, cats, webkinz and a ton of other stuff!

    penpals

I am in Dallas and my daughter(9) would like a 'letter' not email penpal. Anyone interested? I just joined this list. I homeschool my son(5) and daughter(9).

    Thanks,

We got a penpal back in...June. We sent them a letter and they sent us one. We then sent them one back in July and have yet to hear back since.

Not even the email I send or the pm have been answered. (sigh) Oh well.
