Watch out if you get a PM from another member using this name. At atoz someone posted that they got a pm from this person, and it was a scam to get money. Remember to report things to Amanda when needed.
I think it stinks that someone would try to come onto a site like this or atoz and pull that junk. What's the point?
FYI - franklyn didn't register here, and I already banned him at atoz. He actually listed his occupation in his profile as "unemployed" -- These people are desperate. Our newspaper had an article about the African scams on Sunday. The perpetrators they interviewed go to a public computer terminal and send out emails and messages all day long. That's their "job." If they manage to trick one person into sending them $5000, they have it made. The guys who do this are the richest people in their country. It was an interesting article. I've been getting those email scams for years.

Phew... I'm glad I wasn't the only one who had this thought. I was thinking of that thread from Becky about Arthur and thought "Ah Man!" Well, either way what was said about this person isn't that much better...
As a guy told me once, he claimed to be a recovering criminal. He said, "It was your job to go to work and make money so you can buy nice things and my job to relieve you of those nice things". What a life!
