Kris just called me and said they have made it into their house, but with everything that's happening, they're not getting much unpacking done. Here's the story: She's been on the phone all day almost, talking with the doctors that are working with her sick mother-in-law. They are now quite sure that she has Liver Cancer! :cry: They are sending her to the Rochester, MN Mayo Clinic. Tomorrow morning (October 3) at 8 or 9 am Central Time, they are doing a biopsy to see if that is the case. Kris is asking for prayer for this situation. Of course she'd love to pray for healing, and have a miracle take place, but her mil is almost 90, and they realize it may just be her time. They've all shed tears, but are trying to stay strong and move on. Problem is, they're not sure what's going to happen next, so with this and the moving, etc., the stress level is high! As we were talking, she said how her youngest dd told Kris: "It's okay mama, I went in my room and prayed. I said that I wanted her to get well, but if He wanted her, then that would be okay, becuase I know it'd be better. But please help me not miss grandma too much!" (I may not have gotten the words exactly, but I tried, and this is close.) I thought that was so sweet! They're not sure whether they will need to head back up there---which is 24 hours of driving! Another thing is, Kris's husband is the baby of the family and is VERY close to his mom, so this is VERY hard on him! So lots on their plates right now, so PLEASE pray for them however God moves you. You can pray over all, or pick parts to pray for, but just keep them in your prayers. Kris may be able to pop in, but she's not sure, so she asked me to post this for her to make SURE her good friends would be able to pray for her and her family and know about her mil!
