because I FORGOT TO TURN ON THE OVEN!!! It should be almost done...lol, now it has 45 more minutes to cook.. since it sure wasn't cooking with the dial in the off position!
lol.. she must still be at the dollar store... I am still sitting here laughing at myself! I can't do anything in the kitchen lately! I think I need to hire a cook!
I had this problem last week....I thought I had turned on the crockpot...I remember turning the dial...I guess I didn't turn it all the way over to LOW. RATS. It was about 2 hours in...thankfully it was just spaghetti sauce and the meat was already cooked! So I turned it to HIGH and cooked it on high a bit then turned it to low
A crock pot is understandable but a stove??? I mean really. LOL! Just kidding! I've done that...well...never...but I am sure you aren't the only one. LOL.
lol.. it all must be my mind turning to mush now that I'm past that 30 year milestone! I guess it all goes down hill after there.. If I'm mentally incompetent at 31 I hate to see another year or two.. or even more AAAAAHHHHHHH
Sommer, I never noticed how close your younger two are in age and birthdays! Wow! My older two are jan 7 nd Jan 11 but they are two years apart. No wonder you are forgetting to turn the stove on. OH...just don't forget to turn it off!! Now that I seriously have done. LOL
lol.. I forget to turn it off alot! Hubby is good about double checking that one for me! When the littlest.. ok, he is not the littlest.. when they youngest was born they wanted to deliver him on the same day as his sister's birthday! We really considered it, but I wanted them to each have their own days, and I always wanted Ry to be a year older than her little brother, so we chose the 29th for our section. My doctor really thought it would be neat to give them the same birthday though..lol
boy, oh boy, is old age really getting to you girl.. You need more then glasses honey.. so will come the rocker and cane..
Ya better hurry, Kris! I hadn't noticed the bdays either! My older two are July 21 and Aug 19 one year difference. Their due dates were like one day apart in Sept. They still occasionally fight like cats and dogs and they are 21 and 20 now!
Well, that is better than forgetting to turn it off! I always forget to turn it off, and in the middle of summer, there is nothing more miserable than a hot oven!
I've noticed that before as well. Ovens and toasters don't work well or get the food cooked when ya don't turn'em on. What's with THAT?! Honey, if your brain is mush because you're 30, then what is MINE at....ummm...31----yeah that's it!
I tend to forget to change it from PREHEAT to BAKE occasionally. I NEVER forget to turn on the crock pot, but once I DID forget to plug it in, lol! Right now, our oven needs a new heating element. This happened on Thursday. Friday I had to take dinner to someone at church who had surgery, it was across town in rush-hour traffic. Carl went with me, and we decided to get frozen pizzas for dinner. They were even on sale!!! We get out to the car, and suddenly I realized that we couldn't bake them in my oven! Hopefully he's getting it fixed today.
No way!! I haven't hit that mark yet and my mind has been mush for quite some time!! I personally blame it on the males! lol!
