Man, Ladies I hate asking this through heavy tears falling on my computer, I have never had some much trouble putting words down and asking you all for a prayer for my family.... Well first I will try to explain my family, we have two dogs one is a min. teacup poodle who is 6 poodles and has a big attiude to go with it he things he can keep up with the best and the biggest animal out there. He is 8 years old.. Then about 3 years ago a homeschool group we use to be in were telling everyone about these dogs this lady had a and couldn't keep them she had way to many we went to look and adopted Koda Bear a big Collie about 80 pounds. Well my dogs normally get along yes, they have there moments but it's mostly the small dog picking on the big down. Last night around 10 pm we were in the living talking as a family and our small dog got mad at the big dog, because my youngest dd was playing with him and went to bite him, I guess the time was coming and the big dog had enough and took a big bite out the small one, he went into shock right away and I held him close to stop the bleeding until we got him to the vet. The small dog Lucky is in bad shape still don't know if he will live the bleeding has stop he has alot of swollening on the brain.. he is in ICU right now.. Well the pray I need you all is to give me the strength when the time comes on Monday and if Lucky doesn't get better we have to put him under. Oh my GOD how can I do that he is my baby.. I also need the strength for the girls they are taking it really hard they are screaming and crying all the time... Man oh Man first of all we did have the 600 dollar to do this but how do you tell the girls you can't do nothing.. we did take our 600 and are trying to make him better. Lord help us. We talked today and told the girls there would be no Christmas they understood well, just said all they want is Lucky.. Lord what if I can't give that to them.. He was our Baby and our child we love him so much it hurts so bad... WHY us all the time,when is it going to stop I had enough I am done playing games... Thanks ladies for the wonderful prayers sorry for any errors but I can hardly see the the keyboard I have been crying so hard.. Well I am going to go see my baby now..Pray for us..

Wow Kris I am so sorry for you and the girls. I really hope and pray that little Lucky lives up to his name and pulls through.
Kris- my hurt is still very raw over my Sparky, so I know exactly how you feel. In the course of just a few days we put over a thousand dollars on the credit card, trying to get Sparky better, so I understand the financial part of this, too. I'll be thinking of you guys. Please keep us posted. Be sure to show love to your other dog, because I bet he realizes what he did. He just had enough.
Ladies, heres a update just got a call from the vet, it don't look good at all. We have to decide sooner then I want to too, Man oh Man what did we do for all this stuff. Becky, Crystal, Tiffany thanks so much.. Becky yes its expect we have no credits cards so this is very hard..
This might sound cold hearted, but don't wait too long to make your decision about Lucky. I feel like I was greedy about not wanting to part with my Sparky, and I should have let him go when they told us he had cancer. Instead, I got hopeful everytime he ate a small bit or drank a little. It's very hard to let our wonderful pets go, but it's selfish to hold on for ourselves. I wish I could do something to make it all better, Kris..
oh my. ...i'm so sorry......i had to put my oldest cat down last year and i know how heartbreaking it is -- pets aren't just 'pets', they're little furry family members and losing one is so hard.... i'm sorry this happened........
Becky, thanks so much for being here for me, this is so darn hard I hurt so darn bad and I can't stop crying, both of the girls are each crying we have prayed and prayed, my youngest wants to sell everything to make Lucky better I have talked to her and told sometime money can't do that.. She just don't understand.. Man it's hard to see them hurt and cry so much... Lord I am asking you to please be us when we head out of this door in 30 mintues to go see that little man of ours. Kris, I'm in agreement with Becky. And I do know how much it hurts. Our German Shepherd is losing control over his back legs more and more every day. Only we've already been told that there's no amount of money can fix him, so we won't have to make that decision. I'm pretty much letting Carl decide when to take her into the vet. Oh Kris, my heart is breaking along with yours right now. We had one die on Joyce's birthday a few years ago and that made the situation even worse. Don't forget we are here for you!
Just adding my word of support in here too, even though I already talked to you about it. I'm sooooo sorry! This is tough! Stay strong, Hon, God will be with you! I have no idea why this is all happening to you, it must be sooo hard! Remember the story of Job? Keep the faith, hang on strong! Lots of prayers for you! Ladies, thanks so much, keep those prayers coming this is so hard. this little man is our baby and we need him home with us and back on his feet. we went to see him today he picked his head up and whined when he heard all our voice. man that is hard. wish you could stay with them and spend time with them... Oh we decide we give him one more day and see how things go. The girls want to do that if nothing else. We have to do it for them. We talked on the way home about Christmas and they were so understand.. We just can't do anything for Christmas this year after this. Thanks again and keep praying he is a special little boy. Oh, Kris! I am so sorry to hear that! It is so hard to have to put a pet down, especially one you are so attached to. You guys and Lucky are in my prayers.

Kris, you'll cry for a long time. I still sit with Sparky's pictures sometimes and just look at them for awhile. I left his leash where it has always hung, and his ball is still in the corner where he always laid. This way, I can still feel him here. You might want to find things of Lucky's to keep, for comfort.
Kris, I have been out all day and just saw this. I am so very sorry your family is going through this. I love my dogs like babies too and get so upset when they are sick. I hope Lucky can make a full recovery. I will be praying for you all. Beth
