Vicky!!! I'm so glad you and your family are safe! We've all been very worried about you and you have been in our prayers and thoughts. I'm glad your aunt and uncle are safe, too, and that your home is still standing! Praise the Lord! We'll be praying the phone services and electricity are returned to normal soon - today would be good!

    Blessings,

Power is on and so is the telepone. We are thankful for that.
Luv bugs are not fireflies. they are not a pretty sight, They are two bugs that mate all the time, they are connected to eachother. They stink when they die. They land on everything and everyone. Just a plain pest that is what they are. I will send you pictures of them. We have fire flies that light up the sky at night. They are neat, but luv bugs are not. We vacuum the floor and the next day the floor is covered again with dead luv bugs. Brenda I was only kidding when I said that I would send you some. I don't wish them on anyone. They come in when a tropical system comes ashore in the south.

We are getting somewhat back to normal. Started back to school this week.

    Vicky,
I don't even know what to say but I pray Gods most amazing blessings over you and your family. I pray over your finances that He would prosper you and everything that your hand touches. For your health may no weapon formed against you prosper. That He would put a hedge of protection around you and your household and all that dwell in it.

All things work for the good to all that love Him and are called according to His purpose.

A bit of sad news The Jefferson Davis Home on the coast was heavly damaged. If anyone had ever saw it, it was a Gone with the Wind Home. It was so pretty how it sat on the green lawn covered with live oaks. Now nothing is left but the house and it is almost not recognizable. There are homes that were built before the Civil War and were so pretty, now gone. These are just some of history 'gone with the wind', whole towns wiped off like they were not even there. I only had very minor damage compared to the people that lost their homes, jobs, and family members. Some they will never find they were swept out to sea. I thank you all for the prayers, and ask that you continue to pray for my family. But I would also like for you to pray for the people that are still sitting in shelters, and are picking up what little they have and having to start all over again. But ask that you espically pray for those that have lost or are still looking for loved ones.
You will never know how greatful I am knowing that you all are praying for me and my family. :) May God bless each and everyone of you.

Most post earlier here was a little confusing to some. Luv Bugs do look a little like fireflies. That is what I meant not that they are actually fireflies. They are black.

I should have said Luv Bugs!!! As you can see the male and female are attached. The male is the smaller one and the female is the larger one. So I have read. They crawl on everything. They are active during the day. But if you get them in your home they will crawl and fly all night.

Yuck!n They look nasty and ugly. I'm glad we don't have swarms of them around here! They look just as nasty as earwigs.

They are kin to the fly. Thank goodness they don't bite or we would be in trouble. Each day there is more than the day before.
I have just noticed something I misspelled Please on the subject of this thread. What is the smilie for embarassed?
I was in a huge hurry that day. I was so upset because of having to leave behind our home and horse. I was also trying to calm my daughter down because it is her horse.
Trying to get two cats into one cat carrier was a very hard thing to do.
We are almost back to normal around this home. There are still places that people are still with out power and phones, and water. I don't think we will ever go a day without loosing our power for and hour or more. We have just gotten phone service, all the time, instead of where we would have it for an hour or two, then loose it for the next 21 hours or so. Talk about getting all your calling done fast, and interneting.
