Okay... So on Saturday night my husband had our first date in almost 8 months! My stepmom watched the kids. She was keeping them overnight and bringing them back to us before lunch on Sunday. WELL...the 2 year old got sick and threw up all over the place Sunday morning. My mom called, said to come get her. We were getting ready and she called back and said forget it b/c she seemed fine. THEN about 20 mins later called back angry and in a panic b/c she had thrown up again - all over her carpet. She was quick to tell me that my kids got up at 6:15 (sorry, they get up at 8 for me!); kept her from having her morning coffee, and her morning poop, AND my 2 year old threw up all over her carpet and furniture. It was like the furniture was more important than my 2 year old! It made me so mad! She threw up all over b/c she was looking for my stepmom...and throwing up while she was walking to find her. And HELLOW...don't give a 2 year old CHOCOLATE MILK just after they throw up!!!! Anyway, long story short, we went and got her, she threw up a lot yesterday, but slept for 4 hours and was fine after that. SO... I'm having a baby shower at my house on Weds a.m. and I'm hoping that none of my other kids - or me for that matter - get sick. We can all be barfing our brains out Thursday, but ifyou could pray that it would hold off till then if we HAVE to have it! Silly, I know!
Nobody likes to throw up. No body likes to have to clean throw up off the furnature or carpet (and all the other places it seams to get). I'm sorry your little one is sick. I'm sorry you couldn't really relax on your "date night". ---- I feel for you for we havn't had a date night in a few years. I hope that everyone stays healthy. Maybe you should offer to buy your mom a candle or a can of fabreeze. PS: maybe you should have a back up plan for the baby shower.
Thanks. She is better. She's still afraid to eat b/c she thinks its going to make her throw up. Sometimes hunger outweighs the fear and she goes for it. She didn't have a fever or anything, so I'm starting to think she ate something that just didn't set right with her and she didn't sleep well ontop of it. My kids seem to not do well physically at all if they don't sleep well. My eldest did something similar recently on a night when she didn't sleep well. So...maybe it's NOT contagious. Or I'm just fooling myself! So far so good. 24 hours until the party! Now all I have to do is get motivated to CLEAN!
WE MADE IT!!! They can all get sick now! LOL Not that I want them too. The shower was a success! YEEEEHAWWWWWW! Now I can sleep! THANK YOU ALL FOR PRAYING!
