A few years ago Ems was sick so we took the week off of school. The next week, I came down with something and we took the week off of school. I honestly think I showered and changed a few times in those two weeks. :D ;)
I am exaggerating but we wore our pajamas as though they were glued to our body. LOL

I have stayed in my PJs far longer than I care to talk about on some days. LOL. My mailman has see me from all decked out to no make up and in old PJs....poor guy. lol.

When my dh used to deliver packages he would often tell me of how people answered the door. lol. Believe me...answering in PJ's is nothing! LOL.

Some days if I do get dressed early, I am wearing comfy sweatpants and T shirt. They are sporty like sweats that tie. They are SOO comfy.

at least you had pj's on. YEsterday the door bell rang at 11 am, it was the postal driver with a huge parcel of my science stuff. I had to throw a coat on to answer it becuase the baby had just puked all over me and I had just pulled my shirt off as the bell rang. it was either answer the door in my bra or throw on a coat lol. my kids were in various states of undress because we don't wake up until 9 am and they were still getting dressed for the day lol

Jack has been sick today and neither of us ever got out of our jammies. Usually he wants to get dressed right after he goes to the bathroom in the mornings and I get dressed after I finish my make up.

TOO funny ladies.. I get dressed pretty much after my 1st two cups of coffee.. But a few days ago I was in my PJ'S all day. My family thought I was weird... Or not felling well But I told them I just needed a day like that.. I do not even own a pair of sweats. (I thought about buying a pair but never have yet)
    Maybe one day I will???????

I bought my first pair of house pants at a church yard sale. I never wore them before and I feel in love with the comfort. They are nice enough to wear out but they feel like sweats. So comfortable!!!
I was glad to find them. :D

    What are house pants?

When I say pj's for me, I'm talkin' sweats. I have comfy sweatpants and I wear them with a t-shirt. If it's cold, I wear a sweatshirt over the t-shirt.

No more little "teddy's" for me! Can't fit in 'em anymore anyway! ;) TMI? Sorry!

House pants are like sweats but they do not have the elastic at the ankles. The have more of a straight leg, like pants but they are soft like sweats. The ones I have are elastic at the waist but not gathered. You can also find them with drawstrings. One pair has pockets and the other pair are plain.

You are too funny!!! I'm a sweatpants and t-shirt jammie person too!! Plus the sweatshirt if I'm cold (which is most of the time). Actually, my regular clothes consist mostly of jeans and t-shirts/sweatshirts.

I think a few years of dress suits/hose/heels for work (pre-kids) swore me off for years.....actually I was normally a jeans/t-shirt/hiking boot girl...just had to dress up to fit with corporate America.

Wow, I don't miss the rat race. Moving to Ft. Irwin, CA (middle of nowhere in the Mojave Desert, CA)...totally saved me from that....one thing to thank the US Army for :)

Yeah, the rat race should only be for rats! I'm pretty much out of it as well, for which I am truly grateful!

Stand up for your rights to wear jammies all day if you want to!!! WHY? Becuase you CAN!!! :D

Are you in VA now or Ft. Irwin still? I am about an hour or less from Ft. Irwin, depending on traffic.

Well on this subject.... I fell and hurt my foot around the middle of Dec. and all my kids were sick off and on that whole month. We didnt go anywhere hardly. Not even church. I wore sweats the whole time. HIS sweats. lol They are more comfy. ( SIZE 3x) Well the other night My dh was sitting in his recliner and I was in the floor cutting out a pattern and I realized he was looking at me. I asked him "What?" He said "Nothing" but I knew it was something. I dont remember who said it , but something got said about me looking so rumpled. I started laughing and he said yeah he really would like to see me dressed up again. He likes it when I wear my heels. I said "I cant with this bad foot right now" He said he knew and kinda sighed. I felt bad for him LOL. So tomorrow I am going to look my best for church just for him! But when we get back, I will probably head straight for my ( or probably HIS ) sweats again LOL
