I try to, I like mornings. Though if they hear a sound, everyone starts to get up. btw...why am I the only one on the boards this early. LOL
I'm up! I get up around 5:15. Because I pick hubby up at 6, he works 3rd and I go to work at 6:30. My son sleeps til I get home at 8:30. So Good Morning to all that are up!!
I get at about 6:45 on days I have to look after my niece, 7 to 7:30 on other days. It's hit or miss whether my son is up earlier than me but my daughter usually isn't.
I have tried to get up before the kids and have seldom suceeded. So I usally just get up with them which can be as early as 6 or as late at 730 in the morning. Maybe if my youngest would stay in her bed and the younger two would stay off the couch I could get up and do my thing. I use to but recently it just hasn't happened. I so cannot wait until we are settled again.
I get up when the boys do. With Xander still waking between 4 and 9 times a night I need to get as much sleep as I can. I'm still fairly sleep deprived most days, but I can manage if I don't get up too early. I worked yesterday so I had to be up by 5:30 to get ready, go vote, get home and get the boys ready, drive to MIL's in the next town over then get to the school there. By 7pm I was ready to crash... hard. Thank God for Vault
I am up at 3:30 with Handsome. Once he leaves to work, I have time to myself. I do not usually pop in right when I wake up. I like to do my Bible reading or study first.
i get up before my kids, usually by 6:00 - 6:30. I wake the oldest up at about 7:30 - 8:00. And the youngest he is a lazy one. He will sleep till 10:00 or later if you let him. But he doesn't take a nap in the day either.
up with my sweetboy is up and that is around 6. We have much needed time alone, then sweetboy is off to wake girls up and then, the day has begun..
I am up before my kids get up or I get up with them. I make them breakfast and we sit around the table and chat. I look forward to that every morning, it is fun!
I get up at about 4:15, I make DH's coffee and his lunch, I check the computer for a few minutes, then I get his uniform ready (because undoubtedly he won't even be able to find a pair of socks)....... then I go back to bed, the kids wake up and say bye to him for the day and then I let them watch cartoons or games, ------ while I go back to sleep until 6:30 or 7.
I have found the only way to keep my sanity is to get up before the kids. lol. I don't always accomplish that, mind you...lol. However, for the most part I do and it makes the day so much better.
That's how it is here. It does not matter what time I get up. When I get, up the kids are up shortly after. I get my alone time at night when alll the kids are asleep.
Not usually. On Tuesday & Thursdays, cause those are the days my son has classes & I get him up. But Thursdays I typically go back to bed and my other boys wake me. I stay up late!
I got up at 6 this morning. I have insomnia, so I am trying to get up earlier so that I'm not awake at 1 am. Otherwise, I am going to have to go on sleeping pills...I'm only getting 2-4 hours sleep a night
I almost always get up with my dh. We rarely get time alone, so it's nice to be up at the same time. We used to be up at 5 every morning, cuz dh had an early start in a carpool. Now he doesn't carpool anymore, so we get up at 5:45-6:15. He works only 10 minutes away and starts at 7. Once in awhile though I'm so tired I can't get up. But we ALWAYS have prayer together and a kiss goodbye---that's an important routine that we can't miss! :love: The kids? Well, when we had our act together for a couple of years, the kids were up at 6, had prayer with us and said goodbye to Daddy. We'd have devotions then exercise. After that was breakfast. THEN school started. It was very efficient and worked well! BUT that hasn't happened this year! We can't seem to get to bed until sometime after 10pm! So I let them sleep in. DD is usually up by 8 or 8:30 at the latest. DS on the other hand sometimes sleeps in until 9 or later! There that's the long version! Here's the short version: I'm up with dh most mornings, and always up before the kids.
