What is your homeschool method? I would have to say that ours is probably eclectic. We take a little bit of everything and mesh it into something that works for our family.
eclectic for sure, and quite laid back as far as no schedules, no specific place work must be done, etc
eclectic, and we do the work wherever we feel like--couch, chair, floor, back porch, walking around, etc.
Not only one set curriculum for all subjects. Drawing from many sources to get what works best for your children.
Thanks! What is it called when you use one curriculum and then have additional educational materials of interest to an already heavy work load? That's what we do.
Totally eclectic around here. And relaxed from the aspect that we do our work wherever best for that day....one day some might be at the kitchen table while others are on the couch, hanging upside down from the couch, whatever works best on that day  I'm a bit more rigid about the 3 R's and more relaxed about science and history (we have resources but branch out A LOT so our curriculum resources will last longer than one school year). Eclectic here too, I start with thematic unit studies, but toss some more organized math and phonics his direction
I would probably call that supplementing. So, just for example, would say, "I use A Beka curriculum and supplement with things I find on-line and workbooks from WalMart." Or something like that.
