Is anyone baking this weekend? What are you making?

I'm not sure yet, but I love to bake, and usually make something on Saturday for breakfast Sunday. I'll probably make Cinnabon copy cat rolls. What will you be making?

I am making pancakes, been hungry for those! A cake or muffins too. Also mac and cheese in the crockpot! YUM!

Then next week some valentine cookies that you use kool aid in to make them taste like strawberry & be pink!!!

 

I don't know what I'll make this weekend, oh yes I do - I found my soft pretzel recipe and I'll be making them with the kids. Last weekend we made coconut and peanut butter bonbons mmmmmm. They all vanished.

 

I WISH!!! A burner went out on the oven, so it's disconnected now until Carl can get it fixed. Hopefully sometime tonight!

 

DizneeteachR did you see the recipe I posted of the pink valentine cookies? THey put Strawberry nesquick in for flavor and color.

Anyway Eva is DETERMINED to make a pineapple upside down cake this weekend!!! (and she doesn't even like them).

I will make valentine cookies on the 12th (since thats the day the homeschool valentine is and we'll be missing it)

I am not baking but I am going to make some diet pancakes for myself using Ricotta cheese, an egg and sugar substitute. I baked yesterday for Crystal's birthday party. Devil's food cake shaped like her basketball jersey with her number on it. She will be 15 on Sunday but had her party with family last night because her youth group is going to a concert Sunday night.

 

I have butter out waiting to soften so I can make sourcream muffins.

Made the very best chocolate chip cookies yesterday.

 

I just took brownies out of the oven. The boys are waiting impatiently for them to be cool enough to eat

 

Going to make cinnamon rolls for the kids tomorrow. They have been asking for them alot in the last several weeks.

 

I bought a donut dispenser thingy I'm going to try out with my homemade gluten-free donut recipe. I'm going to make them for our MOPS group next month and want to make sure the look like "real" donuts so that no one snubs them.



I may also make corndog bites in my pancake puff pan I got last week!

I am making cream filled cupcakes and breakfast cookies (they have bacon, cheddar cheese, and wheat germ in them).

 

I made bran muffins with naturally clabbered raw milk (instead of buttermilk) late last night. Today, I am baking sour dough whole wheat bread.

 

Eli's class party for Homeschool Academy is Monday, so we'll be baking Sunday. They asked us to bring 22 sugar cookies. FYI, that's three for each child!!! And one for the teacher. Who's genius idea it is to give each child three cookies plus bags full of candy (they have two parents assigned to bring candy) is beyond me.

I made an Oreo Cream Pie last night.

This is a really difficult recipe though I managed to do it right and it turned out great.

Here is the recipe:

Open box, mix up packets of stuff, pour in shell that is already made, chill and serve.

It wasn't bad for something that came from a box. I never buy stuff like this but it spoke to me in the store. :lol:
