Mine too, really. The oldest will be 9 next month. And I think that it's really just recently dawned on him that all the answers are in Mom's books. LOL And like I said, I'm right there when they are working so it's not like they can take advantage of "the teacher left the room" type stuff. Not unless they look up tomorrow's work today. LOL Which if he thinks about it, isn't very smart... because I don't necessarily do things in the order the book says to do them!

    Anyway. Yeah.

My kids have no clue that the answers are in the teacher books. Frankly at 1st grade and K I don't use the teacher books to grade their work at all. I just look at it and well, can tell. So, they are kept right beside the kid books.

Someday it may be a problem and I have no idea where I will put them then.

Speaking of this, when I was a teacher in PS, I had a girl take one of my teacher books, it wasn't one I used often, so I didn't notice it until the principal called me up and asked me about it! Yikes! It was bad... she didn't have it long, a day or so, and had apparently copied the answers to a couple of worksheets. Ugh. It was a mess though. The family claimed racism... then the school was actually afraid to really discipline her.

BTW, I agree with copying the whole page, and sorry for the Rabbit Trail. :)

I actually keep them on my daughter's desk with her books! Heck, half the time she uses them to check her work. I don't record marks so the only point in her doing a math or english worksheet is to make sure she knows how to do it so she doesn't really seem to think looking at the answers has any point.

I keep them in the Desk Apprentice along with their books. I don't find peeking to be a problem....yet.

My dd9 will look back at her older work in her Horizons Math book, so I watch her during test time. Just so I can get a real guage of how she is doing.

I've been watching too much Star Wars lately, because when I read your post, Alana, I saw:

I keep them with my Dark Apprentice...
