I really like how Kent Hoved explains it in his videos. There are lots of good thigns there, but the bottom line is that after the flood the climate changed and things do not grow as much as used to before the flood, and that dinos are some type of outgrown lizards. If you are interested in the subject I would advice you to watch his Creation.vs. Evolution seminars
Why do I not know about this!!!???? I live in Springfield. I'll have to get online tonight and do some research. We often go to Eureka Springs as a family.
DaLynn, Thank you for the link. I think I might order that. There is a lot on that site that could help. Everyone, Thank you for all of you input. It is VERY helpful! I am doing my home work! LOL Hopefully I am ready for next year. Right now we are just doing basics in science (like the human body, classifying animals and plants, you know stuff like that)and trying not to hit this subject until I am more prepared to cover it.
Here's a link to AIG that shows the dinosaur books: http://www.answersingenesis.org/PublicStore/product/Dinosaur-Activity-Book,5630,184.aspx
JoAnna - I found that same science book (set) for cheaper when I was browsing last night. It was either at Rainbow Resource or at Christianbook, for $5 cheaper. I think we'll do the Astronomy of the same set, and I'll bet we end up doing the God's Design series from AiG after we finish CGC. And you're welcome.
http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/faq/dinosaurs.asp a good child level book explaining it http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs2001/0419new_prod.asp not sure if this was posted or not but it is very good.
This is the link for the creation museum in Eureka Springs AR. I think it is inside the Passion Play area. I have been to the show there before, but it has been since before I had kids, so it has been a few years.
Dinosaurs and the bible by AIG We have SkyAngel and this is one of the free programs on their video on demand. I'm going to get the kiddos together and watch this.
