I can cook. I really can.
The problem is, I am entirely SICK of cooking all my usual fare.
So, I am looking for someone to tell me what to cook. Think of it as a labor of love and pity and post 3 or so times a week what I should make for dinner. Just THINK for me!
    My brain is tired.;)
    How's THAT for entirely lazy!!

LOL!!!! Maybe we should all swap recipes for our usuals! My family's getting sick of my usualls too.

I got "Desperation Dinners" at a thrift store for 50 cents....

Why not check a new cookbook out of the library and randomly pick 3 things and you HAVE to cook them, even if they contain ingredients you don't like?

I make my husband go thru our Cooking light's and put sticky notes on stuff he'd like to try - and I usually try to put one in the rotation somewhere.

    :) HTH.

    Chicken Tortilla Soup

Boneless chicken breast (cut into chunks)
    2 cans chicken broth
    1 can diced tomatoes
    I medium onion
    1 can corn, drained
    1 can black beans, drained
    tortilla chips

This is a crockpot recipe so it is very easy and delicious. Just dump everything into the pot and leave it for 6 - 8 hours on low.

That soup sounds great! I was looking for a new crockpot recipe to make tomorrow. I will be gone all afternoon and need something that'll be ready when I get home at dinnertime.

Tonight, we're having hot dogs on buns, baked beans and oven fries. Tomorrow, Tiffany's Tortilla Soup, and Friday will be pizza as usual.

:D How cool is that?! Now I have to go and change my recipe card from plain old chicken tortilla soup to Tiffany's Tortilla Soup.

poor mans lobster is cod fish, you take butter melt it roll the cod fish in it, add garlic and poor the remaining of the butter on top of the fish then put in pan then cook until done. about 15 to 20 mintues. Use the butter on bottom of pan to dip fish in.

Kris that is a great idea, I think I'm putting that on next weeks menu! I love lobster ;)

Krista, are gluten free because your intolerant or are you celiac? DS1 is gluten/wheat intolerant. It's been a roller coaster journey with him.
