Last week I had an intervew for the hospital, again. It was for a Patient Service Rep position in the lab department. Hours are M-F from 4pm-9pm, one weekend every 8 weeks and rotating holidays (1 in every 6-7 or so). They called today to tell me I got the job! I am SO relieved and excited, I get to tell my boss to go blow it out his butt today when I get there. Hehehe! Well, I will still be professional about it, but I still get to say "SEE YA"!!! The hours are more than what I get now, PLUS I get benefits (PTO and all that jazz) AND the best part....I will be making $4 more per hour than I do not. Right now I make $10, and they are starting me at $14.10. I am SO SUPER EXCITED!!!!!! I have been trying to find a new job since I got the one I have now, because it has never been enough for us to make ends meet. Hopefully this one will allow us to not have to worry about how to pay our bills every month.
WOO HOO! YAY! That is wonderful news. Congratulations! I hope it is everything you hope it to be. This will be one less thing for you to worry about.
Either the 7th or the 21st. I am right now scheduled to go to orientation on the 21st, but I am trying to see if they have room to squeeze me in on the 7th instead. The sooner, the better!
