Hello everyone - I am a mom to three wonderful boys. 7, 5 1/2 and almost 2. Our house is never quiet or spotless, but we have a great time and thats what counts. We've been homeschooling from the beginning for thousands of reasons and while it hasn't always been easy it is really going well. I know there are a lot of Texans here - anyone in the Fort Worth area? Not much in the way of hs groups around here... Thanks for reading!

I'm near the southwest side of Fort Worth - halfway between Ft. Worth and Weatherford. If you're Christian, there is a large co-op group that meets in Benbrook--- right there near the Hulen Mall area. I've just started a homeschool group for our area. There are actually quite a lot of homeschool groups in the DFW communities, so you should be able to plug in to one pretty quickly if you look!

Hi! I'm in Austin, welcome to the Spot! I'm sure there are more groups than you realize - have you checked yahoogroups and/or MSNgroups? A lot of the local groups use those venues to stay in touch. It's somewhere to look anyway, if you haven't yet. Your kiddos are around the same ages as mine - my boys are almost 9, almost 5, and 3.
I'm in FW, I'll PM you info on a great group, meets in Burleson. Worth the drive, well I guess that depends on what part of FW you live in, but it is worth it for me I also have 3 boys, a girl, and another boy due in May.
