She attends a charter school and their day starts at 8:00 and will go to 3:40 next year. They have 1/2 hr for lunch and I believe 15 minutes for recess. Not much time to be a kid. Whatever happened to nap time (putting your head on your desk), two 1/2 hr recesses and fun "centers" in the classroom??? Now it's all push, push, push. And while I want her to get a good education, it's double hard for a child with a slight LD.
