Explode the Code -- Question about Levels

    I think we'll keep doing phonics activities, add beginning readers (BOB books are on sale at Costco), and I'll pick up Book 1 at our May used book sale to see if it's where we should be and compare it to the HOD I'll pick up. :)

    Okay so now I know what level to use I need to know some easy readers or begining readers or whatever they are called. Can someone tell me some good ones?

    I would love to know some good readers as well. We have the Bob Books, but it seems like the level 1 books at bookstores/library are still too difficult for my DS to read (without getting very frustrated, which I am obviously trying to avoid at 6 years old!!)

    Scholastic has some really good boxed emergent reader sets. I got mine at a used curriculum sale, so I'm not sure where you would by them. Maybe check the Scholastic site?
