    Hello all!

I am a homeschooling father of four (11yob, 10yog, 6yog, 3 yog). My wife is our kids primary teacher although I am very involved in the kids homeschooling life (thank God I work from home - a great blessing).

All of our kids have never been to school. Homeschooling always just seemed quite natural to us. We both love learning and spending time with our kids. We basically follow a classical homeschooling approach although our daily routine is quite flexible and the kids spend most of there time playing in our backyard (especially now that the snow has finally stopped).

Our two bigger kids are currently working on the following subjects: english, german (my wife is from Austria), latin, math, music, history, geography, and religion.

Our 6og is learning to read in german (its mostly phonetic - a lot easier then english).

Our little three old plays and colours and repeats random things that her older siblings say.

Looking forward to sharing and learning from all of you

    Aaron

We also live with my wonderful Mom and have two dogs and a cat (a very busy house :D).

Welcome! Glad to have you! This is a great place to glean. ;)

We also follow a classical outline, mostly. My boys are 9, almost 5, and 3.5 and we've been hsing for 2 years. My dh works nights and is home all day (though much of it he sleeps LOL), and we keep a late schedule to maximize our available family time. It works wonderfully for us - what a fantastic blessing for you to be able to work from home!! :D

Anyway, welcome, and hope you stick around and chat some!

    Welcome!

Another Canadian here, from New Brunswick. I think we have the Maritimes covered. Where in Canada are you from (if you feel like sharing)?
