I have two thoughts. One - The USA, like Canada, was built in no small part by illiterate peasants. Two - I remember reading the story of a mexican woman who was working as a nanny in New York. The assumptions made about her were much the same. Except in truth she had a degree in civil engineering.
Wow. I feel bad because my first reaction was to laugh. Not because I agree or think the comment is funny. Because I cannot believe someone would be so stupid to say something like that. It is like out of some stupid B-rated comedy. What a nut.
That guy needs to practice some restraint with regard to thinking something and then allow himself to get diarrhea of the mouth! That just seemed like a hateful comment to me. From what the article says, this isn't his first brush with inappropriate behavior.
