Heard on the news that extra tax money, they promise us, are starting to go out Monday in the mail. I don't know how they send them, or who gets what first, missed that part sorry.
I believe if you had your return check direct deposited, it will come that way. If you had it mailed, it will be mailed to you. DD will be the first sent. Paper checks come next. It is based on your SSN. Check on the irs.gov site. It has some sort of scheduler.
I know we should have ours by the 9th is what the site says. I am so excited. It turns out we will get 3 pay checks this month and the tax check. How fun!

We get ours in the second batch, but it will be direct deposited. I can't wait, I have big plans for that money!
We are going to give some to my elder dad because we claim him as a dependent in our return, then the rest probably for airline tickets. Hubby and daughter might go to Wash state this summer to see family Sam
We should be the very first ones to get the money if all this information is true. Couldn't come at a better time. Beth
We'll get ours when we get it! Unfortunately, it's pretty much "spent" already! Our hot water heater has a small leak in it; we've a plumber that goes to our church, and he says we'll be OK for a little while longer, but of course it needs replaced. He's suppose to do that for us SOON. He'll give us a fair price, but it's still an unexpected expense! Believe it or not we had to replace toilets (!!!) just a month ago. A part inside the tank needed replaced, and he said that they no longer make them for toilets that old. So the whole thing had to be replaced. (Imagine going to the hardware store! Carl wanted me to come along, because he wanted me to "help" pick one out. You know, they ALL look the same. What did he want me to do, try them out??? GEESH!!!)
Well be getting ours in the first batch also. Govt won't be getting anything from us to boost the economy lol. It's going straight into savings.
Jackie, if you just replaced toilets to water saving toilets, see if your city has a rebate policy ours did but it just quit (thats how we found out that they had one...... if we knew we would have gotten $75 back per toilet and we changed both last year)
Ours is going straight to pay off a small loan. I can't wait, it will be a big weight off of my shoulders!!
I can't wait to get mine and my ex husbands too. We have several home improvement projects going, Samantha is getting braces and dh just lost an account yesterday. It can't come soon enough!
Guess we will be stimulating the economy here. Paying for ds' graduation announcements which were over $400.00 and other related graduation/open house items.
