Yes, use it, works great and like it here! Do a board search and you might be able to find more info on it if you are looking for something specific.
Used it like it, (levels 1-4 so far) learned alot from the teachers quides. Will order the ABC levels for my youngest.
Love it! DD6 is starting book 6 next week. I personally don't use the teacher's guides, though I do have them. The guide for books 7 & 8 does have the answers, which will be nice. I didn't use the Before the Code with DD, but will use them for the little one when she is old enough.
I used it up until the 3rd grade. We started it in 3rd but I felt we needed more structure and info so we flipped over to Rod & Staff English 3. I do like Explode the Code for the younger ages.
Use it and LOVE it! Daughter will be starting on book 5 soon. Also using it next year for my younger daughter along with Happy Phonics. Don't use the teachers book often.
I have TONS of resources to use for teaching phonics, yet, I'm *STILL* considering purchasing this. *sigh* I really don't need to spend any money if I dont HAVE to have it, but.... Yeah. Hyperventilation. :lol: Also considering finding The Ordinary Parents Guide to Teaching Reading. Or both. Plus the stuff I already have.... But, who knows.
We have used it for K this year and will be using it for 1st Grade next year (I also just started the Get Ready for the Code book with my 4 year old). My son has really learned a lot using it and I found it very easy to use for me!
