I was trying it at 3am LAST night, with still no luck. I think there must be something more going on than meets the eye... or the keyboard. UGH, it's frustrating though!
I was told, though, if you've received a receipt that the download occurred (even if it didn't) that you can use that link to download it when the freebie time has ended. I've only gotten a couple...maybe 3....but I emailed them and that's what they told me. I have receipts in my email from ALL of the ones I tried...so....I might just risk it and if it doesn't work - email them and make them honor what they told me (which I can't imagine they wouldn't, they are super friendly folks). Sorry Jen...I'll stop trying....maybe that will lighten the load a bit!
I've gotten most of them. I was having trouble, too, so I went with trying the ones I really wanted over and over. I didn't get them all, but I did get the ones I most wanted.
There was a St. Patrick's Day one, but it's gone!! I didn't get it, but was going to go back and try it later.
I got emails confirming the St. Patrick's Day one, but kept get a page doesn't exist error. Guess it is gone.
This came up when I tried to download: We are experiencing technical dfficulties with our download system, and we apologize for the inconvenience. If you have ordered a product, or clicked to download a free product, you will be able to complete that download by using the link located in the My Account - Order Details page once this issue is resolved. I know things happen,and it is no bi deal., Free is free... Hope they resolve it soon though, because free just happens to be one of my most FAVorite things!
OK, here's what you do. Press download. Even if it doesn't actually show up....it will be in your acct info in a few mins and then you can download it AFTER the big sale. All mine are sitting waiting for me to download later....as long as its in your acct info, you can do it anytime.
I pretty much got all I wanted. I didn't care for all of it, so no need to download the ones I do not care for. But I did get what I was interested in and I am now officially once again addicted to that site... Sigh... They are like "e-Book Pushers"... "PPssstt! Have some FREE e-books....." Knowing the WHOLE time, that I am gonna get addicted and come back for more.... That is just evil I gotta tell ya... But I love it!
LOL! I was able to get a few today, and the rest of what I want is sitting in My Account. Anyone placing orders for the 10% account credit? Clues as to how that works? Jen's right... it's addicting! (Pssst! Don't order History Scribe there, though. On the HS website itself, they have a doozie of a sale going on!)
I think the St. Patty's one turned into the geology one. I had them written down and where the st.patty had been....geology was there now.
