We are moving from our apartment into a bit bigger townhouse. The living area is pretty big, but it will house the computer and a play area along with the living room furniture.

I was wondering what would you absolutely need or use in a small space for schooling. We will only be doing preschool stuff around 3 days a week maybe 4 days. I am going to have a bar with bar stools that DS can work at and the little one will not be able to bother him.

If you happen to have pics of your small space for school please post them :)

    Thanks in advance!

We live in an apartment as well, and the only things we have are two small cabinets, and the dining room table for them to work at.

I lived in a 40 foot Motorhome for 5 years so talk about not having space. Use, plastic containers to put workbooks in and crayons and other things.

I think you can get by living in a small space and find areas for homeschooling.

We live in small two bedroom apartment. We do out homeschooling in the living room (We have a little tykes picnic table that we use for the boys to sit at) and we use the dining room table also.

For science experiments and messy art projects we use the large amount of space outside in our patio area.

We have built in bookshelves and a large amount of cabinets in the dry bar/glass shelf area. I have plenty of room in my opinion for storage.

Yep, me and Kris were RV sisters. I currently live in a 40 ft. 5th wheel trailer. We do have a desk in the kids' room. One child works at the desk and the other works at the kitchen table. They have one shelf in a cabinet in their room for school books and on shelf for reading book and resource books.

I think the key to your small space is organization. i know you can do it.

Thanks everyone! I am hoping with this move we will simplify things and get rid of a lot of things we do not use. Then I can organize everything that is left over.
