    We are in San Antonio.
I have done baking early in the morning or late at night. It's too hot during the day for me.

I thought about baking on the grill but it's too hot for me to go outdoors unless I did not at night when the sun went down.

I like the ideas mentioned here. I may try them.

Baking early in the morning. Hmmm.....

When I was in high school, I went to spend a week with my great-aunt who was an INCREDIBLE cook. I went out and picked blackberries, and wanted her to teach me how to make a pie. I get up early the next morning (about 8:00 AM), and she already had it in the oven!!! ("Before it got too hot....") I was SO disappointed, but tried not to show it, because *I* wanted to learn how!!!

When I lived in AZ I baked all year round...I LOVE baking and don't let anything like heat stop me! LOL :D

I need to investigate a little - but I've heard that you can bake cakes and things in your crockpot (sorry if someones mentioned already! I just came back from vaca and trying to catch up on the posts....).

    :)

I still do bake in the summer time, but not as often.
Sigh...the children have been bugging me for cookies, so looks like today I will have to relent.
