I saw my Ob/Gyn Wednesday May 28th. I am at 5 weeks and 1 day. It still had not hit me because I was thinking it could be a false positive. I was sure I was going through early menopause since my cycles had been going from 28 days to 48 days and then 32 days for the last several months. She says, no Sandra. You're definitely expecting! I was right on the due date of Jan. 26, 2009. NO VBAC, I am not a good candidate for it. Oh well.. I wanted once to have a vaginal delivery in my life... So while most of my friends my age are having grandbabies, here I am having another baby. Here's a picture of the sono taken yesterday May 28th.
We told Michael and he is happy about it but then he said, Baby Matthew is not going to be happy about this. Matthew, our 2 year old is still too young to understand it all. When we told him we were having a baby, he explained "but I the baby." I guess I'll have my work cut out for me but I have plenty of time to prepare Matthew for the new baby. I am going to include the boys in helping me docorate the nursery and pick out clothes once we find out what we are expecting. For now, Matthew has been looking at all the baby/mommy to be magazines that I got in my goodie bag from the OB. He enjoys looking at all the pictures of the babies.
I still feel in shock. I was surprised. With the other two pregnancies, I felt symptoms early on. I have not felt any symptoms up to now. I see my OB/GYN again this Wednesday. I am a diabetic and each pregnancy I have is considered high riskl so I will also be seeing a maternal fetal specialist.
congrats!! It's so wonderful to see the little pics of the babies! I love mine, I still look at it daily!
yeah that is so exciting. I didn't feel anything until a few weeks later with this one (#3) too. But then they hit full force. Congrats
