    Finally! Yay!

    Has anyone used Just Write?

The publisher of Mystery of History is talking about putting together a beta LA program to go with MOH1.

Well, I didn't realize that WP's LA program also coordinates with their history. They use Just Write for their writing.

MOH is planning to use R&S for their grammar (YAY! WP uses Grammar Cop). I don't know what else they plan to use, but WP uses SpellWell (we use Spelling Power), and Words Are Wonderful (which is what we use). They also use the Handwriting for a Reason series, whereas we were planning to use Getty-Dubay (but haven't started yet).

Anyway. Since we're taking the summer off, I've been thinking more about these things. :)

I haven't used that program. Just wanted to add my 2 cents.....Our son has progressed by leaps and bounds since we started using Andrew Pudewa's program - The Institute for Excellence in Writing. www.writing-edu.com
It is a DVD program that I wish existed when I was a kid! He takes the drudgery out of writing, and really teaches how to create quality work.
There is a DVD program for the parent: Teaching Writing Structure and Style - which covers all of the levels of the student DVDs
Then, the student DVD sets come in 3 different levels.
    "Student Writing Intensive"
Level A (generally for grades 3-5)
    Level B (6-8)
    Level C (high school)
Sorry if this is too much information...but I think it is an excellent program, and worth looking into!!

Thanks! I've seen that one. It's just WAY WAY out of budget for us. ;) Plus, we need something really basic to deal with some processing stuff....

I've looked all over and this is the first I've seen that I really, really liked! :) Yay! (And, I'm secretly hoping that BIP will include it with their MOH LA beta program! LOL)
