Hi everyone. I thought I posted earlier, but now I can't find the post, so maybe it's off dangling around in cyber space somewhere! Anyway, I am Marcy, mom to Ben, age 7, my only child. Ben will be starting 2nd grade in about another month (we school mostly year round). We live in Louisville, KY where I work full-time from home as telephone triage RN. I am a long time user of Five in a Row, but this coming year, we'll be moving on to My Father's World. We'll be starting with Exploring Countries and Cultures, and we are very excited! I have been very active in the FIAR web community for 4 years, but I guess it's time to move on now. I've heard this is a fun, fantastic group, so here I am, ready to join you all. Hi! I found FIAR after my children had "outgrown" it... I have friends that use MFW and REALLY like it. Nice to have you here.
Bob was more likeable when he wore orange and blue....we were sad when he left "The Swamp". We'll take Urban though...especially since his Heisman winning starting quarterback is a homeschool grad and gives homeschoolers some good PR.
This is when I wish I had the rolling smilie from FIAR! :lol: (Do you like how I've totally threadjacked you, Marcy? haha) Dh and I went to OU in the mid to late 1990s, so that should tell you how much we love Bob around here!!
