Ok, I laughed my head off at this page. Here's a sample: "What about socialization?" One dad's standard response to this question is, "Socialization? Oh, I give my kids some socialization every week. I wait until they're in the bathroom where no one will hear me, then I beat them up and steal their lunch money. Then, I ridicule them, tell them some lies, and encourage them to lie to me and my wife." TOO TRUE!!!
Bless you Bless you, Road Runner!!! Today, my dds had to endure some harsh comments about homeschoolers and were quizzed continually during a Sunday School class. These ps kids went as far as to say, "homeschoolers are smarter than us, so ya'll answer all the questions." Other remarks were, " Does your mom have a teaching degree? Are you taught by your mom or your grandmother?, and the list goes on. Anyways, I got on here to vent, but after reading this and remembering why we homeschool I feel so much better about the whole situation because I know it is just their ignorance about homeschooling that makes them be so cruel. It is not our battle to fight because we have already won.....our children are home with us, safe, protected, and sheltered from what is going on in the ps schools. Thanks for sharing, Melanie
