After seeing my finances, debt and my roof with holes (which is now being taken care of but didn't know it at the time), I decided to try out Book Samaritan. I explained that things were tight but not so tight that I couldn't manange but a few things would be appreicated. I was hoping to be last on their list as I did feel a bit guilty about contacting them I mean, I know things are tight but I probably could have worked something out over time. Anyway...they shipped me some books! I can most certainly use what they sent...especially the preschool stuff as my budget didn't really include preschool. Anyway, they also gave me a list of free curriculum on the net. I have not checked these out...sorry...but there are the sites they suggested in case any of you are interested. www.thephonicspage.org/index.html www.coolmath.com A+math.com www.funsci.com www.sciencebuddies.com www.jamestownjourney.com www.handsandhearts.com www.tosmagazine.com www.hippocampus.com www.pbskids.org www.sheppardsoftware.com www.sheppardsoftware.com/European_Geogrphy.htm www.sheppardsoftware.com/European_Geography_Mac.htm Typing website: www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/flash/stage1.shtml Hope these work out and hope someone can use them.
Thanks Ava Rose! I used Book Samaritan when I first started hsing and really appreciated the help. As much as we are having the dgds here during the week, we are planning on doing some schooling with the 2 yr old so the links will help!
I think I love you. Thanks for some awesome links. I definitely am feeling the crunch too and these are a great help.

I thought I'd share a couple of my personal favorite... sites for free stuff. Most of you are probably already aware of Homeschool Share, cause I think Ami posts here, but just in case someone hasn't... Homeschool Share Then my other favorite is Our Los Banos. They especially have an awsome early American History curriculum, Charlotte Masonish, with a complete schedule. If you've thought about doing MFW, WP, or Sonlight for Early Am. History but can't afford them (or even if you can), check this out. They also have a science curriculum for the Human Body, animal classification cards and lots of other printables, language arts and math included. Our Los Banos
Thanks ! I'm going to check out the links ! For starting readers and letter recognition take a look at Starfall.com. Interactive books and MANY work sheets to pick and choose from !
hey I found this one recently....you have to sign up & become a member, but it's totally free to do so. It's awesome, my new first go to site when planning lessons... http://www.teachersfirst.com/index.cfm
