I went to the web site today looked it over, going to talk to dh really want to take the girls, I hope some of you others will meet us there. They also are having Homeschool overnight on Oct. 7, 2008 but thats a little pricey I don't know about that yet or not. It's $89.95 per student and 74.95 per adult and they will have hands on activites and dinner served at the Space Center in Houston that night. But thats alittle high will have to see about that. Any way just wanted to give everyone heads up on this so you can check it out and decide. Go to the site alot of neat things going on those two days.

We will consider it, but we have ben a bunch of times this year as we used to have season passes and we never used them because my kids were bored. Well, bored except they wanted to play on the large McDonalds style play center. sigh...

Its just their age I think.

Thanks for posting this! We are from Houston (now in the Amarillo area) and we will be there that week for a wedding. I might see if I can take my oldest. He's never been and I know much will be too old for him, but I'm sure he'll love it.

I read it to dh.... He has a store opening in October, and I already told him that I want to take the kids to see King Tut's mummy in Dallas in October (y'all want me to post that info?), and so he said we're doing that instead. LOL Sorry! Sounds like fun!!

It looks like fun, but our little one will be in ps again this year, and we wouldn't be able to spend enough time there (40 miles away through yucky traffic) to make it worth it and still be able to get back home to meet her bus. Too bad...

I wonder if the children's museum does a homeschool day? Of course that might be too young for some people's kids.... How about the zoo? :D

Thanks for the info! I'll talk to my husband and we'll look at the funds and see what's what.
