I use part of both. We have a tiny 2bedroom place for now and the kitchen is a small/dine in one so it's SO VERY CROWDED! And the living room is my book pile storage spot (which I would organize better...but again....we're moving! :x :cry I am just happy if there is enough space on my kitchen table for school work and the kids to eat, lol.
Now some people were admiring my room on another thread, but if you read what I put a lot of our stuff was free, actually I think almost all of it. One tip about the wipe off board, we used mirror hangers to hang ours (ours is made from cheap, flat tileboard) anyway, they keep from drilling holes into the tileboard, are cheap and easy to use. OP, your area looks great. I sometimes visit TWTM board and it's like everyone there is made of money. We surely aren't like that, I love craigslist, our apartment rush (dh is a painter and we get all kinds of freebies in August) and Freecycle!! Hugs! kristine
I think it's something like golden ochre. It's a pretty dark yellow, Black Eyed Susan flower petals. I picked it because it was the only yellow I could find that made my old, falling-apart kitchen cabinets look half-decent. I LOVE your room! What I'd want ideally is some big comfy space for snuggles, just like you've got with your chair...Someday!
