    Hello All,
I have a 12 year old in the 6th grade and this is our first year of homeschooling. I'm flying by the seat of my pants with a toddler in the middle of everything. I'm excited about looking around here and reading the sage advice of experienced homeschoolers.

Welcome. Glad you joined us. We are only in our third year of homeschooling. We have a 15 year old in 10th grade and a 10 year old in 5th. Both girls. Our other five kids are out of school now. I love having our girls home and they are doing great. Beth

Welcome to homeschooling, a lot of it is just adjusting to the routine.

    Hi Amy,
I'm new to the spot as well. I also have a daughter in 6th grade, that I homeschool. Welcome! IMO this site is totally awesome and resourceful!

Hi! I'm new to homeschooling also. My son is 12 years old, and he is in the 7th grade. I find mixing online learning with written material helpful in educating my son.:p

Welcome. I have a 13 yo in 8th grade and a 4 yo in K/1st. They work well together, if I can get the 4yo quietly doing some worksheets, otherwise, I hs them separatly.

Welcome! I don't have a 12 yo, but I do have a 7 yo and a 5 yo, with a toddler and a preschooler to distract! So I can sympathize with the exhaustion!

    Welcome welcome!

Don't worry amccleary5, the exhausted stage will only last for another 15 or 20 years! :D

    Welcome!

What a relief! And here I thought the exhaustion would last for the rest of my life! :)
