    HellO!
    We are loving our MUS, here we are all of what two weeks of solid work in, since all the books arrived and all that, and dd is already passed test 4! ( she is averaging an A btw, or 100% right for 9.8 times out of ten)
    She loves it, and can quote "her Teacher Mr. D the guy who looks like Grampa" to prove why her answers are correct etc.

    At this rate she may finish like in February? We had planned a lesson a week, but she begs me to do more , and then I just let her run wiht it because she watches the dvd, then goes to work. THis is so nice after two years of struggling with ALgerbra 1!! I am glad we chose to do Geometry in between ALg 2 because she needed the encouragement that she can do it right, and I needed the break in brain strain! lol, I guess next year I will have to purchase a copy of MUS for the Church's school, and sell them this copy of Geometry or loan it to them for the kids there cause this is awesome!
    I could even get a job as the "Geometry Teacher", and grade the kids work and help mr D teach! haha!
    WOW!

    So how are you all doing with your MUS?
    Please state your level, and what lesson you are on... I am curious if this is the norm for kids who love MUS to keep wanting to do math, very strange but I keep hearing "mom, can I take my math book with me incase I get bored?" AAAAAAAAAA!
    :!::cool:

    Um...I'm doing horrible. :D I've been concentrating so much on getting Catherine's schedule written in stone that I've completely neglected Harry. I do want to unschool him for awhile but this is a little ridiculous.

    All I want to do is a bit of ETC, MUS and some Peterson Directed Handwriting...Maybe 30 or 45 mins a day total.

    Arrgh!

    Yes, my kids love MUS and so do I.

    Both kids are working through Epsilon books. DS is doing chapter 16, and DD chapter 12.

    The DD toddler just has fun with the blocks !!

    TMom, it sounds to me like you found a wonderful curriculum for your daughter.

    We use MUS along with a spiral approach math curricula, at the moment the other is Saxon.
    I love MUS for it's teaching help, and for the understanding of mathematical concepts my son is gaining.
    We are using Gamma and I cant remember what lesson we are on lol. My son does like MUS more than Saxon. He especially loves watching the lessons... I think he enjoys the change of pace from listening to me teach all the time. Mr Demme doesn't lose his patience lol.

    We're on MUS Alpha with my son. :D He's okay. But I think that Math just isn't his subject. He does well, but he can't do mental math...only if he uses the manipulatives. I like the program, though, and can see totally why it works. :D
