Ok...I have Dish Network but I am getting rid of it and getting cable. Anyway, they sent me boxes to send the equipment back. The box is way too small for the dish. So, I don't actually send the dish just the thingys that get the reception, the remote and receiver, right? Sorry if that is a stupid question. lol.
That's not a stupid question at all! We went through this when we dropped Direct TV for FIOS. Yes...it's just the "receiver" and the remotes. And I think some of the cables go too - just not all of them! You could call their customer service and ask them what exactly they expect in each box! Just be prepared for some schpeel about staying a customer.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw your post so I felt like I should reply. My husband works for Directv, so I know what to do. Yes you keep your dish but you return the LMB off the dish. Also the receivers and remotes. That's why the return boxes are so small. Hope this help you if you hadn't found out already.
My dh just got off the phone with Dish Network... you have to send the remote(s), the receiver(s) and something connected to the dish that looks like two eyeballs but not the dish itself. That's what we were just told.
Thanks ladies! With my dh out of town I was on my own with this one...lol. I just didn't want to get charged for not returning something. Thanks so much!!!
