going with the homeschool schedule, I though it would be fun if we showed where we do our school work (or most or some of it . . .)

With this new house, we have a loft area that we converted to a homeschool area, complete with a computer in the corner (I don't know if you can see it in the pic). It looks like a mess in the pic, as it is also our art area, project area, etc, but I LOVE all the space.

Don't laugh at the mismatched bookshelves - we are making do with what we have!

Here's ours. It's in our basement, where we practically live! Just across the hall is mine and my dh's office. There's another big bookshelf that isn't in the photo.

Well, we tend to school all over the house  And all our bookshelves are spreadout (where they'll fit or make the most sense with the other furniture/space).

In some ways, I wish our toy/playroom was a school room but then other times, I like NOT having a schoolroom because my kids don't do as well all schooling in the same space (too far apart academically to share a lot of subjects...although we do geography & some science together). Most of my son's seatwork is done at the kitchen table (where I have an easel/dry erase board)....the girls sort of rotate where they work best.

    Cool pics so far.

We don't have a set area. I'm trying to work them into doing some of their work at the desks they each have. But don't expect too much of it. If I could get the laptops working - I'd have them do it whereever as well. Right now it's where they feel comfortable working.

Apryl - yours is so neat! It's cute that you have a pic of the kids doing work there too!

We do not school in a set area either. We are all over the place.
