My parents in the midwest have gotten more snow than us. So not far. Anyhoo because I really hate dorking with photobucket right now, if you go to my blog the first 2 posts have pictures of the snow we got. www.denofmamabear.blogspot.com
The pictures were great. Looks like the children are having fun in the snow. We have had snow a couple of times now. My dh works for the city and salts and plows snow. When we get snow, he works, no matter what time it is. Tell the children to build a snowman the next time and post those
We went to the page to see the pictures. Phillip read that your husband was a Chief Petty Officer. He was SO FUNNY!!! We're currently reading books about the late 1800's, including many about Native Americans...Sitting Bull, Chief Joseph, Cochise, etc. So when he saw that word, CHIEF, he HAD to point it out to me. "She's married to a CHIEF!!!" I had to explain to him that it was a chief PETTY OFFICER, and that this was a RANK in the Navy....
We had an icy snow last night, and howling wind today. Last night it took Jeanne and me one hour to drive three miles, the road was so bad.
Looks like the kids are having a blast! We got our first snow two months ago (about 6 inches) and then hadn't seen any until today (so far only an inch or so), my kids are hoping for enough to really play in.
You can have some of the 6-12 inches we are getting tonight...on top of the already 8 inches on the ground. I love the look of snow, but I hate living with it.
We just got measurable snow recently, and expect a few more inches today & tomorrow. It's been cold though, we had -14°F Saturday morning.
Now that is cold!!!! If you do not mind my asking, what state do you live in. If you do not want to share, that is alright.
Northern Minnesota. I love it here, and can't imagine living anywhere else, except Alaska. We've thought about moving up there .
